Offering assistance with Compliance and Accident Prevention measures, along with dealing with the regulatory agencies. Previous experience on the regulatory side, gives me opportunities to share those experiences, and use that knowledge to help miners become more compliant, as well as looking for opportunities to enhance accident prevention measures. Several offerings in the past few years for front line supervisors, with a focus on safety, decision making, cost control and time management. Focus on the small things and decisions, how they can provide opportunities for incremental tons added to the bottom line.

Director of the Running Right Leadership Academy, a state of the art learning and educational facility built by Alpha Natural Resources in Julian, WV to serve the mining community.

Conducted compliance audits of underground operations as well as conducting investigations as verbal hot-line complaints were recieved and assisted in accident investigations. Another important task invovled monitoring mining operations with safety records that were close to the MSHA PPOV criteria, and engaged with the operations to produce a corrective action plan, and implementing our plan to ensure compliance with the standards.
