Medical Education Program Administrator
CurrentServes as the point of contact person / liaison with hospital Resource Management Division to ensure Training Affiliate Agreements (TAAs) / Memorandums of Agreements (MOAs) are finalized with outside training facilities and current per regulations. Serves as the liaison between the schools, otherwise known as outside training facilities, hospital Department Chiefs, the preceptor and the student. Independently coordinates rotations based on the departmental requirements and staffing capabilities to include; a current TAA; availability of preceptor; and eligibility of the students. Ensures no conflict in schedule or rotations. Schedules Composite Health Care System (CHCS) training for all students; ensures a Common Access Card is initiated; Ensures all students complete in-processing and out-processing. Maintains accurate student records to ensure Joint Commission compliance; tracks and submits monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on accountability of students as required. Develops strategies to identify the most advantageous means of compliance with Joint Commission by ensuring students training folders are in compliance for Newcomers Orientation; Basic Life Support (BLS); Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA); immunizations, background checks; and required OSHA training. Coordinates in-processing with Information Management and Security.
