Managed the deployment/installation of 120,000 Smart Meters.• Discovery/ApplicationUsing technological mechanisms provided by the implementation of Smart meters developed a method to identify energy theft. As of January 2017 over 750 diverted loads (.7 % of 98,000 total residential meters) have been found using this “low voltage outlier” technique. Diverted loads are now often caught within just a few days of illegal connection being made. • In 2014, the Western States Utility Theft Association selected me as Revenue Protection Professional of the Year.• 2016 hosted by MIT to work with a professor and PHD students to take the “low voltage outlier” to higher levels and into different directions.
