Release ManagementProvide governance, risk assessments and coordination of release activities ensuring compliance and auditability. Delivering results by partnering with operational leads, release managers and engineers to ensure successful implementations by influencing how teams collaborate, plan, build and deploy releases. Promote Release Management by socializing positive results attained through the standardization of procedures, artifacts and best practices. Responsibilities include:• Enterprise Release Management (RM) Practice owner providing governance and oversight to Fidelity’s RM Program including support of compliance audits, Reporting, SIPs and Archer control administration. • Represent and advocate on behalf of Fidelity’s Enterprise Release Management Program. • Develop, maintain and publish controlled documentation for Fidelity’s RM Process (policy, process, workflows).• Reengineer RM process, and tool functionality, in support of evolving technologies such as agile methodologies.• Partner with ITSM Practices (Change, Incident, Problem and Availability) to ensure seamless integrations delivering best practices, results and continuous improvement.• Perform end to end RM Readiness Reviews with a focus on ensuring supportability, risk mitigation, stability and efficiency. • Manage RM reporting and metrics to ensure governance, awareness and coordination of release activities.

Change and Problem Management OversightProvided oversight to CTG’s Change and Problem Management Programs. Responsibilities included:• Change Management oversight included partnering with customers to assess the risk/impact, classification and communication of change activities. Partnered with teams to ensure that standardized procedures were utilized for efficient implementation of changes. Performed audits to validate that policy, process and procedures were followed. • Problem Management activities included the reengineering of CTG’s PM Program. I analyzed the existing program, identified and documented process improvements and socialized an optimized Process. PM governance includes partnering with problem owners to record, classify, assign and analyze problem records. Assisted problem owners with the creation of known errors, eliminating problems and promoting operational stability.• Developed, implemented and maintained automated workflows for deployment of packages into production.• Provided training, support and oversight of India associates participating in Change & Release activities.• Tier 3 support (escalation) of issues impacting FPAIT production application code migrations.

Enterprise Application & Infrastructure SupportProvided technical support services for a broad range of technologies in support of Fidelity’s enterprise Novell and Windows environments. Responsibilities included:• Provided engineering, administration and project management services for enterprise Novell and Windows environments including: Active Directory, security analysis, capacity management, performance tuning, root cause analysis, system integrations / consolidations, disaster recovery planning / testing, application certifications and on-call support.• Project co-lead for the enterprise-wide Novell elimination initiative and subsequent migrations to Windows. This project encompassed the migration of 100s of Novell NetWare servers (authentication, file, print and infrastructure) to Microsoft Win2K Advanced Server. The consolidation resulted in enhanced supportability, performance, availability and ~$2,000,000.00 annual savings. • Project lead for the Enterprise Print Server stabilization initiative. Enterprise print environment encompassed print services for ~25,000 Fidelity employees. The effort improved print service availability, performance and recoverability. • Project lead for the Win2K FTP Standardization Initiative. Collaborated with support partners to define, document and implement a standardized FTP service model based upon elevated security principles including; accountability, availability and supportability. Several hundred business critical FTP processes were updated in support of this initiative.• Developed training materials and conducted training sessions with India staff to facilitate the transfer of knowledge in support of FTG’s “Follow the Sun” support initiative.
