I am a Telecommunication and Data Center professional with 16 years in telecommunication and 7+ years in Data Center environment at Tier Point. As a Telecom technician I was doing remote testing for new business solutions, troubleshooting and installation of different types of communication equipment. These years of experience help me cultivate my troubleshooting skills, critical thinking, organization skills, priorities, teamwork and leadership. When I moved to Nashville, TN I brought all this knowledge to Windstream Hosted Solution now Tier Point. As a Data Center technician (Ops tech II) I as well as my co-works at the time, were the first team to open the new Data Center at Franklin, TN 7 years ago. With my knowledge and experience working in the Data Center I was able to established process, mentor new hired technicians, lead complex projects and help the administration move forward on difficult situation by assuming managing task when undergoing Manager (DCM) transition. At this moment I feel that I’m ready for new challenges not because I don’t love what I do, is because the technology is changing fast and is moving to Cloud computing that is the new future, that is why I’m in the process of getting certifications on AWS, GCP and Azure. I’m looking forward to any challenge that comes my way and I’m ready for the future.
