Pricing assistant manager for Car insurance

Saving’s for Sainsburys bank and Funding analyst. Looking at all regulatory liquidity reporting metrics, savings front book pricing and balance growth of a c.5bn balance sheet

Currently the finance business partner of all Sainsbury's banks insurance products. Provide the commercial teams with the financial backing to any decision making that is made on the products. Currently heavily involved in the new insurance broker platform, looking after all system and ops costs, income and modelling all scenarios to help maximise the businesses exposure to the financial impact of all decision making.I am responsible for all month end reporting packs that get circulated around the business. Making sure these are completed in a timely manner capturing all actual for the month and reporting against budget.I have great people management skills which I have learnt through my years of management in retail. These have helped propel me in my role and I'm currently looking to develop back into a management position. I am currently studying towards my CIMA qualification.

As commercial manager I hold the reigns over 3 sub departments; cash office, back door and price control. Cash office: we deal with all money coming in and out of the store.Back door; deals with the receiving of all goods, from stock to POS and third party equipment. Price control; deals with all the legal ticketing and advertising, lading events on time and making them stand out. Having control of controlled costs and making sure we are coming in on budget and maintaining a green P+L scorecard. Deal with all third party contractors managing their performance and negotiating budgets for the service we are receiving in store.In my current role as commercial manager at sainsburys Livingston I have a team of 11 colleagues working across 3 sub departments; price control, back door and cash office. My aim is to make the store safe and legal for all our customers. I strive to deliver the best customer journey for the customer and always have them at the heart of every decision I make. I am a results driven person who thrives under pressure while keeping calm to the team around me. I have the confidence to communicate to staff at all levels, and feel that I can effectively challenge others above me through my knowledge and learnings. I am a natural leader and a fantastic people person, I have a laid back personality yet strive to meet all targets through coaching and development of others. Sharing my knowledge with colleagues is key to my development, if I can advance their learning I can spend more time on my own development. I'm extremely passionate and have an eye for detail with all work I commit to. Through Sainsburys I have worked extensively with the local community especially the local schools and foodbanks. I coached Longstone primary 6 kids to the semi final of the Scottish cup. Through this connection a group of colleagues played 7aside football weekly raising over £200 for charity.

Deputy store manager of Dundee Street Was responsible for holding the store for over 12 weeks when the store manager left.Job wasn't for me and I looked to get back into a commercial role, then pursuing my career in the finance industry.

PFS manager for both filling stations. Overall accountability for safe and legal aspects of the PFS working closely with deputy/ store managers and third party contractors. During my time in the role I successfully managed to hour match both petrol stations, introduced a lot of change in straiton while getting all the colleagues engaged through the whole process. Green LTT visit in straiton at the end of December 14. Developed one colleague to a team leader in training, while mentoring my other team leader to become a manager.
