Involved in the specification for CMAP (Converged Multi-Service Access) which is a product for the MSO's to provide DOCSIS 3.0 standards with reduced space and power requirements and high dense QAM. I am the technical lead for the current DPoE (DOCSIS PON over Ethernet) RFI from CableLabs. I am working with the cable operators(MSO) on the develop of DPoE and CMAP as a single chassis design. FiOS uses 1550 wavelength for broadcast video, 1490 wavelength for data and narrowcast video (VOD), and 1310 for reverse to the VHO. Developed and wrote the standards for edge modulation using BigBand systems at the central office. This system allows the optic RF signal to be able to meet CNR carrier to noise standards for optical RF up to 42km. The system will also allow for switch digital video.
