The majority of my practice involves aviation law, primarily accident investigation and litigation. My practice areas include major accident investigations conducted by the National Transportation Safety Board, regulatory matters for aviation and other transportation modes, transportation accident claims and litigation, aviation law, transportation mass-disaster law, claims under the Federal Tort Claims Act, and other product and service liability matters. I've assisted numerous transportation clients through NTSB investigations and litigation related to transportation accidents.I speak and write frequently on interacting with the NTSB investigation process following a major transportation accident, whether it’s an aviation, railroad, pipeline, hazardous materials, marine or highway accident. I'm exceedingly familiar with the NTSB statutory and regulatory structure and investigative process, having supported every major investigation undertaken by the NTSB over my five-year tenure as General Counsel of the NTSB.
