- Teach a range of computer science, information technology, and business courses to multiple student levels in a diverse (ethnically & socioeconomically) high performance urban high school. Coordinate in house repairs of Chromebooks. Work recognized by Illinois State Board of Education - Those Who Excel team award for 2018 for ChromeZone operation.-- Co-developed back-to-school professional development session on effective effort (i.e. Dweck's work) & trained 20+ facilitators who delivered the session to entire school's instructional staff. Also, developed departmental PD focused on project based learning (PBL).-- Extensive curriculum development experience in all courses taught as well as development (from scratch) of Information Technology Internship; Game Design & Programming; Business/Financial Mathematics, Introduction to Programming, Computer Applications courses. Developed departmental Applied Mathematics & Applied Reading curriculum and digital library to assist in test preparation for the IL PSAE.- Created data analysis tools using database software to analyze school-wide test prep data.

- Developed specific tactical plans for the district's recently developed strategic objectives. Focus was on creating actionable & measurable performance tasks for a five year planning horizon. My sub-committee developed a framework for implementing major change initiatives associated with other plan objectives.

- Appointed to committee by ISBE. Provided input into revisions of the Illinois' high school mathematics standards. (Work was subsequently fed into the state's common core standards initiative).

- Taught three levels of computer/information technology courses with a vocational emphasis. Second and third level courses focused on preparing students to take core and expert Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) industry certification exams. -- Steering committee member for the school’s Technology Team, which is focused on technical infrastructure and implementing technology across all curriculum in accordance with NETS- Steering committee member for the school’s AVID program, which is focused on helping students in the academic middle to aspire to college and excel in high school.- Analyzed school-wide data to create actionable reports on student pre-testing results to improve overall standardized testing scores of the school. Techniques developed served as model for further CPS test prep data analysis in the district.- Founding steering committee member for the school's AVID program in its inaugural school year.- Managed daily after-school student computer lab program. Expanded this program to offer one-on-one tutoring to other faculty members needing help with technology.- Developed a grant seeking hardware/software and professional development funding in support of curriculum programs.- Steering committee member for the school's Technology Team.

- Managed a staff (7) including corporate training staff and project coordinators at remote site locations. Responsibility included hiring, evaluation, and staff development planning.- Provided primary project management and strategic/tactical formulation for key corporate initiatives. Served as key advisor to President/CEO of the company.- Managed the design, implementation and installation of the PC/telecommunications infrastructure of two new 200-hundred person call centers during their construction.- Co-managed the design and managed the implementation of a new PC-based customer service system, for the Mileage Plus frequent flyer program. System used web-based technologies including - Java, browser-based interfaces, and middleware servers communicating with legacy applications.

- Analyzed school district finances and provided recommendations on budgets, expenditures, facilities, and district policy as a member of voluntary citizens' financial advisory committee.- Related effort following this committee work - coordinated the organization of local realtor support as part of larger campaign for a successful district referendum to build a new middle school to alleviate facility constraints.

- As an entrepreneur, developed and implemented a comprehensive marketing plan for the company – a family business. - Consulted with customers on major technology projects.

(Covia spun off from UA; Covia was dissolved and replaced with Apollo Travel Services which was subsequently absorbed into Galileo International)- Developed and administered a capital budget in the tens of millions of dollars. Administrative responsibilities included - creation of a request for proposal for PC equipment; vendor selection/ negotiations; and drafting of a contract with the final vendor.- Managed the product launch/refinements of a PC product for use within travel industry. This was the first introduction of PC & LAN technology within its segment of the industry.- Participated in the start-up of a European affiliate company in the Netherlands.
