I also respond to calls of faults or maintenance issues throughout the flying day and either authorize MELs, CDLs, or NEFs, or in the event the aircraft is not at a maintenance base, I coordinate with local maintenance providers to return the aircraft to an airworthy condition. I also troubleshoot issues with flight crews if the crew is authorized to perform the maintenance action.

Performed passenger to freight mods for FedEx on 757s in Mobile, Alabama. Performed C checks on 717s in Jacksonville, Florida. Performed C checks on 737, 757, 767 in Indianapolis, Indiana. performed GOGO Wifi mods on CRJ700/900 in Atlanta, Georgia. Performed aft pressure bulkhead change on 767 in Willmington, Ohio. Performed C checks on EMB170/175 in Columbus, Ohio. Performed C checks on Beech 1900D and line maintenance on Saab 340 in Gainesville, Florida.

Dothan, Alabama Area

Heavy maintenance on DC-9s, A319/320s, and B737s. I troubleshot systems, did periodical inspections on equipment (landing gear, flight controls, motors, etc...), performed structural repairs from engineering prints, and did preventative maintenance after heavy maintenance.
