I have been a part-owner of a mfg. rep business, worked as a consulting engineer for Bechtel on refinery projects I have worked for the US Army-Presidio of San Francisco as a facilities manager completing post-wide improvements prior to hand-over to the US Park Service. I have managed large and small construction projects, sales and service personnel with P&L responsibility. I have represented or worked for 54 manufacturers of engineered products and systems.I was Adjunct Professor for Refrigeration Systems at City College of San Francisco; and I have many years as instructor to the trades and the design community: Condenser Water Systems Design, Pumps-Piping-Equipment Layout-Controls-Water Treatment; Site Built Cooling Towers; Hydronic Systems; Thermal Ice Storage Application and Design; Sump and Sewage and Plumbing systems. HVAC Business Development expertise used to educate, inform and work with design engineers to facilitate the best solution to their applications' problems and maintaining that involvement with a project from initial design thru start-up, commissioning; and maintaining contact with the end user for any problems during the life of the equipment and systems. As there are virtually no water-side mechanical problems in the built environment, in power and industry that I have not encountered, I am available for consultation on projects that are new or an expansion of existing facilities; and those that are old, screwed up, poorly engineered, maintained and installed: condenser/cooling towers, pumps and piping, hydronic, radiant, chilled water, refrigeration systems.
