Gaining an array of previous work experience, having worked for a global organization, Engineer/Managerial, in the fields of Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality Assurance, Design Engineering and Production Engineering and having run a multi-million-pound family business. These experiences have given me many transferable skills. My character has always believed in the freedom of the individual whilst taking personal responsibility and as such, I always desired one day to create my very own ‘turn-key' product range, designed, manufactured and installed and spent two years developing the product and business plan with Northumberland Business Enterprise Ltd. A product and business that would bring a great sense of pride to me personally and a ‘love of the product', ‘pride in ownership', ‘enjoyment' and ‘reward' for the customer. In addition a sense of ‘putting something back', a legacy perhaps, with the business being able to train and promote the ‘Traditional Timber Framing' techniques and skills in Northumberland.I have also worked within the Public Sector (Ministry of Justice) with a view to rehabilitation of ‘residents’ prior to release, where some of my transferable skills, ‘business start-up’ etc could be utilized.Recently Qualified In Rail Engineering Track Maintenance to NetworkRail PTS standard & a Sentinel Card Holder.
