I was first introduced to poultry farming back in April 2004 and started working for bernard Matthews ltd I started my employment as a poultry worker which enabled my self to start from the bottom and work my up the ladder, in 2007 I was promoted to a group charge hand with 8 units and serval staff under my responsibility.In 2010 I took another step in the ladder and was promoted to scenior charge hand which involved the Day to day running of the farm again with 8 units and 3 staff members.In 2013 I was promoted to the position of farm manager with the sole responsibility of the farm receiving 1day old poults untill terminal ,ensure bird welfare is always aderied to,good knowledge of ventilation ordering of stock feed,gas,ect ensuring that QBT standards where met and always passing any audit with no non ConformancesIn 2014 I was again prompted to the position of relife farms manager which enables my self to attend any farm in the bernard Matthews estate and take control weather through absences of current farm manager or to provide support to existing manager,this postion came with company benefits such as health care and company car.In 2015 bernard Matthews introduced broilers to the linconshire estate,in which I was asked to manage,responsible for 420,000 broilers.after many successful crops I was asked to fast track current farm charge hands into the farm manger roll,whom are now succesfully managing their own farm.Many certificates has been archived throughout my career from first aid,Fire Marshall,forklift truck lincence,bird welfare, m&s auditing ,health and safety rep,several mangenent courses and very recently completing my poultry diploma level 3 through poltec.The above is a brief statement of my current working roll please view my CV for a more detailed explanation.
