CAREER PROFILEOver the last twenty-five years I have worked in a number of engineering roles in various industries and countries around the world. Automotive Industry: I have worked in South Africa as an Industrial Engineer for a number of medium sized companies and I have worked in the United Kingdom as a Production Engineer for a large international company. These roles encompassed different aspects of engineering from costing of new products; the introduction of new products to the manufacturing and assembly lines; the writing of manufacturing and quality documentation and production line support using Lean Manufacturing techniques.Mining Industry: I have worked in South Africa as a Project Engineer for a small purchasing and logistics company where I was involved in sourcing suppliers through to quality inspections and shipping.Aviation Industry: I have worked in various countries as a Senior Customer Service Engineer for a multinational Fortune 500 company where duties involved on-site surveys, bidding on new projects through to producing the mechanical fabrication and installation drawings and then onto the management of the mechanical installation teams onsite that were installing the fabricated components and assemblies.CAREER HIGHLIGHTS• Working for Collins Aerospace I formed part of a team that secured and implemented over one
