Support the Unified Communications infrastructure internationally

Lead a team of 11 Telecom engineers supporting two Hospitals and outlying offices with over 25000 employees. The system includes two Cisco Communications Manager Clusters, Packaged Unified Contact Center Enterprise, Collabrio, and Verint-ISI voice recording systems. These CUCM/UCCE clusters have over 12 thousand phones and a traditional Avaya TDM PBX has another 5 thousand phones that have not been migrated over.Lead remediation and project planning for the Telecom team to include resource allocation, setting timelines, follow-up and verification of tasks completed. Monitor Service queues in Service Now to track SLAs and document when operational tasks are not completed. Implement and manage a new document repository in Sharepoint for the teamImplemented a weekly team Cross-training session to improve overall understanding of the systems and improve skillsets of the staffIdentified issues in current system configuration and developed plans to remediate those issues with minimal downtime of the overall system.

Administer three Cisco Communications Manager 11.x clusters. One cluster in US, one in Asia and one in the UK supporting over 3000 users. Also support a mix of Cisco Telepresence Systems and Zoom rooms. Involved in roll-out of Zoom to all users across the enterprise. Lead on phone system migrations on new acquisitions migrating them from their legacy systems to one of the enterprise clusters. Technical lead for voice and telecommunications projects for the organization.

Responsible for administration of Cisco CallManger 9.1 system comprising 27 locations and approximately 3000 users. Also administer a Cisco Telepresence system with 16 end units. Oversaw implementation of Voice Print International. Installed and configured Cisco Emergency Responder. Standardized configurations across voice gateways. Implemented SIP trunk between CallManager and Unity. Also administered the company's WebEx site.

Contract position throuch Sentinel Technologies. Supporting the Cisco Voice infrastructure with Communications Manager, Unity Connection, Emergency Responder and Unified Contact Center Express for the hospital with approximately 3000 phones.Also support the network infrastructure consisting of a Core with two Nexus 7000s, Access layer switches with 4910, and 3750 switches, Also support the routers connected by a full mesh Metro-scale Ethernet.

Network Lab Manager for customer's test lab in Chicago. Ordering circuits for test cases, configuring the CER and CUBE routers and configuring the CallManager server to support test calls on the specific circuit. Manage network connectivity in the lab and with other labs across the world.Manage inventory of equipment and circuits. Plan for disconnect of circuits and initiate disconnects upon project completion.

Founding Board member (Vice President) and SCUBA Instructor for Imagine diving which is a new 5013c non-profit organization dedicated to teaching persons with Disabilities the sport of SCUBA as well as training able bodied persons (especially family members or some significant person in their lives) to be their buddies.
