Acquired largest competitor (SPM) in 2009. Physically integrated two existing plants into state-of-the-art manufacturing and headquarters facility in 2010. Personally visited about 400 of Coining's 1000+ customers and spearheaded sales expansion into China, raising revenues from $3.8 million in 2009 to $7.5 million in 2011.

Successfully led turnaround of loss-ridden manufacturer of user interface components including membrane switches, graphic overlays and smart cards used in medical devices, scientific and industrial instrumentation, control systems and industrial equipment. Increased sales from $3 million to $4 million during industry-wide recession when competitors were suffering severe revenue declines. Significantly improved profitability, transforming P&L from losses to profits and cash flow from negative to positive. Selected as finalist for Ernst & Young's Western Pennsylvania Entrepreneur of the Year Award in recognition for Dawar achievements.

Managed all aspects of autonomous P&L unit that designed, manufactured and supplied equipment and instrumentation to laboratory customers worldwide. Transformed division from dog to star, converting one-time laggard operation into Fisher's fastest growing, second highest ROI unit (out of 24 divisions). Grew annual revenue from $20 million to $35 million. Tripled operating income while improving ROI from 9% to 41%. Raised exports from zero to 20% of revenue. Greatly increased new product development activities to further drive sales gains.

Complete P&L responsibility. Led $20 million division to record sales and earnings focusing on supplying forged and machined titanium components to OEM customers for use in artificial hip and knee joints. Doubled number of customers. Decreased average lead-times from 20 to 5 weeks by introducing cellular manufacturing. Reduced new product development time by 55%, work-in-process inventory by 75%, total inventory by 65% and scrap rates by 40%.

Co-founded electronic computer-aided-engineering (CAE) software start-up. Managed marketing, sales, application engineering and customer support activities. Acted as de facto COO. Grew sales from zero in 1986 to $1 million in 1989 while driving Trimeter's share of emerging logic design automation market to 40-50%. Participated in successful liquidity event, selling company to Mentor Graphics Corporation for $10 million in 1989.

Managed national account business segment (OEMs, distributors and large end users) comprising more than 60% of firm's $6 million annual sales of building automation controls. Increased national account revenues by 145% over prior year by further penetrating existing customers and doubling number of accounts.
