I am engaged in projects implementing innovative solutions to the vehicle systems at my company. In my most recent project, I have developed a laser guiding system prototype for paint trucks that aid the painter in the truck's rear cab to align their paint gun with the pre-markings on the road/highway. This project used an Arduino Uno R3, laser, stepper motor with a driver, and microswitches (implement limits of stepper motor motion), to allow the operator to control the position of the laser to any one of the paint guns on the paint/bead gun carriage. I made a control box with two ON/OFF switches, one for power to the system, and one for the laser. The operator can control the laser projection in or out relative to the side of the truck using a SPDT switch with a normally open neutral position. This system is powered directly from the batteries of the truck which provide a reliable 14 V DC input to my system. On a day-to-day basis, I conduct routine inspections of the machine systems that need maintenance, for example troubleshooting the paint/bead gun system of the paint trucks that use PLC, and performing maintenance of Line Laser machines used by painters. I have developed strong manufacturing, assembling, problem-solving, and time management skills throughout my time at Almon Equipment.

Throughout my 5 years of work experience at Almon Equipment, the company was subcontracted to the Ministry of Ontario (MTO) to maintain and test the destination boards on Highway 401, Gardiner Expressway, and the QEW. During this time I learned the technical skills required in testing the destination boards for any damaged components, connection issues, or software issues. As a result of my and my partners' efficiency and meticulousness, we were able to successfully complete maintenance of the assigned destination boards ahead of schedule, providing the customer (MTO) a stress free experience and maintaining our relationship with them for further business ventures. I have been a driver of a sweeper truck and crash truck for the majority of my time as a Driver at Almon, subcontracted to work for Peel and York Region, City of Toronto, Toronto Zenith, Ferrovial, and many home builders such as Mattamy Homes, Fernbrook Homes, etc.

Interacted with customers to help find products, and solutions for projects which they undertook. I also stocked the shelves according to planograms and did price adjustments.
