Talbot Construction are a main contractor and design and build contractor working nationwide. Their specialism is new build and refurbishment of car dealerships and motor trade premises. Also working on new build commercial contracts such as warehouse units and distribution centres we also carried out many refurbishments to varying from youth hostels, schools. high end residential properties and country homes.

Bagshot, Surrey

Dane construction are a small groundworks contractor specialising in residential groundwork’s, based in Bagshot, Surrey. Their works were generally in and around London and the home counties . As a small company they did not have a dedicated buyer and my role entailed opening new accounts with suppliers and plant hire companies. I set up an order system and provided the Company Secretary with forecasts of potential spend and dealt with site procurement with the site foremen and engineers.

Farnham, Surrey

Based in Farnham, Surrey. Jewson are a well known builders merchants and my duties as a Sales Representative included opening new accounts, targeting of local building contractors, national contractors, local authorities, increasing sales revenue. Later as Sales Office / Building Manager I was a senior member of staff and keyholder, answering to the Branch Manager and Assistant Manager. I was responsible for dealing with telephone calls, queries and orders as well as ordering stock for the counter and yard within company protocol and arranging local promotions and setting of customer terms and increasing ex-yard and direct margins.
