Overseeing the overall operation of the sales office including the management of Sales Coordinators and main office reception, including recruitment into these roles.Overseeing the administration of the export arm of the business. This includes liaison with our Irish office and agents across the globe. Direct contact with new and existing export customers, ascertaining customer requirements, identifying needs and preparing the necessary quotations, follow up and sales. Providing direct support to the UK Area Sales Managers. This includes the preparation of budgets and sales forecasts. Processing sales orders. Preparing quotations. Handling customer enquiries and grievances. Data collation and CRM entries.Additional responsbilities / experiences include:Managing the collation, preparation, layout and submission of tender documents for large capital equipment requirements.Attending exhibitions – liaising with visitors and demonstrating equipment. Attending product update training in Germany.

Preparing quotations for standby generator remedial works. This included dealing with suppliers and negotiating best price and deliveries etc. Calling customers to see if they require remedial quotations. Calling customers to follow up on remedial quotations.

Oversee the general administration of the office. This included: Purchasing materials, project planning, inputting of accounting data onto the computer system, customer liaison, collating time sheets and administering payroll, Managing the teams of Landscape Technicians. (There were four teams each consisting of three technicians) This included ensuring employee attendance, and quality control. Dealing with employee grievances both professional and inter-personal. Managing vehicle and plant maintenance. For 6 months I also worked as a labourer on site which gave me a good understanding of the business in preparation for being the office manager.

Conducting pre-adoption sewer and potable manhole surveys. This included the collation of data in the form form or reports and mapping.
