Profile bio

About Gary Jackson

I am an engineer with experience in quality management and design for manufacturing. Celebrating eight years of experience in metal casting, part, mold, and pattern design, specializing in green sand, no-bake, and permanent mold casting. I leverage that experience now as a sourcing quality engineer, taking what I know about the industry and providing technical excellence to product development, sales, and commercial sourcing teams.I have become very familiar with Lean manufacturing methods and have recently seen how they can apply non-manufacturing systems. Product quality is of utmost importance to me, and I know that quality is achieved through standardized methods and well-planned systems.Beyond all of the automation, the most important part of a manufacturing process is the human element. Humans must have all the resources they need to be successful, and that comes through robust training and tailored teaching methods. I leverage this passion into everything I do, ensuring suppliers, clients, and team members have the best teaching I can give them.

Listed skills include Manufacturing, Microsoft Office, Lean Manufacturing, Solidworks, and 30 others.
