About Gary Jimenez

My name is Gary Jimenez, and I have been a dedicated member of the City of Newark for the past seven years. I began my career as a Help Desk Technician and quickly advanced to the role of Field Technician, where I played a key role in multiple successful rollouts. After gaining valuable hands-on experience, I transitioned into the role of Network Technician, followed by a position on the Fiber Team. Currently, I serve as a Printer Administrator, responsible for ensuring all city printers' security. In addition to these duties, I have taken on an active role in transitioning and upgrading the networking systems for the police and fire departments, a responsibility that aligns closely with my long-term career goal of becoming a Network Engineer.
