    I was brought in to provide business development, operations and investor relations experience.. In the early days my primary focus was developing business and go to market strategies. Using my professional network I identified the legal team and brought in the Chief Sales Office who was the proverbial 800lb gorilla in the hybrid truck industry (Mr Paul Skalny, retired Director of the US Army National Automotive Center). My biggest success was writing the proposal, negotiating and winning the $2.5M Vehicle to Grid contract with the Department of Defense;despite EVAOS having zero prior experience (EVAOS had not delivered any product yet) and other challenges with being a brand new start up. This immediately positioned EVAOS as the largest supplier of hybrid trucks to the US military.I stayed on board to lay out the program schedule and general operations policy and procedures. Once EVAOS was stable or as I like to say "the machine can take over" I moved on from day-to-day operations but continue to support their efforts as an advisor when needed.
