I am a passionate and experienced instructor teaching bushcraft, wilderness living skills and traditional woodland crafts to people of all age groups and a wide range of abilities. I have a strong interest in the British countryside and particularly natural history. I am both a trainer and assessor for the Institute for Outdoor Learning’s Bushcraft Competency awards and served on the IOL Bushcraft Professional Practice Group Executive Committee for 4 years, including as the Chair. I led the development of the IOL Bushcraft Competency Award and Bushcraft Competency Diploma.I was recognised as a Professional in Outdoor Learning in 2022.
