Responsibilities and achievements included:• Professional leadership of the project engineering team and development of design changes to train stopping marks, platform barrier moves, OPO changes, Signalling positions and Correct Side Door Enabling system changes • Integration of design and resolving solution for integration issues between disciplines and project teams• Led and RVAR regulations working group to interpret the engineering changes to be made in order to achieve RVAR compliance at the complex and highly critical platform train interface• Led an Emergency Door Opening working group to resolve stopping position reliability problems experienced as the new trains rolled out into new platforms• Chairing the change control board for the programme

I manage the assurance of the new rolling stock, signalling and service control centre under development for the Victoria Line on the London Underground network ( a project c. £1bn). I make sure our suppliers give us the right sort of evidence they are doing the right things and manage the approvals to ensure we hit programme and avoid introducing risk to the travelling public. The idea is we get what we pay for as from these bespoke developments and try to proactively ensure we get the right trains and signalling on site before they are delivered when its all too late.

raised £20,000 for local charitable causes including the provision of a new handibus for the local special needs school. Led a group of 20 volunteers to deliver a programme of community and International events in Henley on Thames. Managed to introduce 5 new recruits in the group over the year.
