My experience and proven track record in the product design and development field is quite extensive ranging from concept development and IP to design to prototyping to production in the medical products, surgical devices (over 48 US patents granted, over 10 pending, over 40 international patents granted), over 100 injection molds, IQ/OQ/PQ cost savings generated of over $6,000.000.00, consumer electronics, electronics packaging, and many other fields. I greatly enjoy the pace, the challenge and leading the successful completion of innovative, high quality, rapid and low cost product development. In brief, my experience includes:• Over 30 years of productive, high quality, rapid, low cost (some passions of mine with the ability and vision to achieve it) engineering, design, product development, manufacturing and production engineering• I am leading a 45-tool production injection molding, design, quality improvement, cost reduction and complete IQ/OQ/PQ validation project with 3 strategic suppliers, with a projected savings of over $5,000.000.00.• From consumer electronics (portable and desk top PC peripherals) to surgical devices (over 48 US patents granted, over 10 pending, over 40 international patents granted)• A project lead from concept to production at Abbott was the engineering and design efforts on a new medical / consumer product, (a blood glucose meter) - production tooled in Singapore with a contract manufacture (Benchmark) in Thailand.
