Key Duties and Responsibilities: Out patient deparment element:•Plan and organise clerical / administrative support within the Urology Service. •Ensure the smooth running of the OPD Clinics. •Operate as line manager for clerical / administrative staff. •Oversee the submission of NCHD Attendance / overtime records, reporting to Medical HR. •Engage with all levels of staff to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the service. Manager of The RAPC Service.•Direct responsibility for the Rapid Access Prostate Clinic. •Work within the NCCP guidelines. KPI’s. •Produce monthly, quarterly and yearly statistics. •Communicate with patients regarding appointments and give guidance. •The capturing of information, input onto the PATs Database. •Monitor and report diagnosis to relevant staff and advise next step in care pathway. •Co-ordinate the SJH Trinity Uro Oncology Group meeting. •Create Agendas. •Communicate with the group. •Data management. •Ensure the correct and efficient capturing of information. •Provide Validation / Audit. •Produce reports / statistics. •Engage with members of the team and provide data for research.

• Responsible for the co-ordination of two MDM's weekly. • Work in a team focused, goal driven environment. • Organisation and prioritisation of tasks as deadlines are tight and overlap. • Communicate with all levels of staff internally and externally to source patient’s investigative material. • Capture, audit and produce statistics weekly and yearly. • Use multiple software packages PAS, EPR, MS Excel, Word, Outlook, LAB on a daily basis. - Create; amend sign off on SOP's / policies within the MDM's.

• Responsible for overseeing staff and the day to day running of the Outpatient Department. • Supervision / Management of clerical administrative staff. – • Responsible for management of PAS templates, reduction and cancellation and of clinics, providing overbooking slots. • Ordering and monitoring of stationary within the department via SAP. • Provide management with daily clinic activity.
