I am tasked to verify the correct parts are being supplied to our customers by visual inspection and those parts meet strict guidelines.

Licensed Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic and holds a 7-skill Level Technician Certificate. Serve as B-1 Crew Chief responsible for directly supervising and training three full time crew chiefs and two traditional guard crew chiefs for all maintenance actions on B-1B aircraft to include pre-flight, post-flight and thru flight inspections. Maintain proficiency on all tasks mandated for a 7-skill level. Supervise other assigned aircraft mechanics performing maintenance. Coordinate work schedules to meet daily requirements. Monitor and conduct on the job training for assigned personnel. Provide technical support as required to all subordinate personnel and serve as technical advisor on complex issues. Maintain the flight training records and mobility folders as well as schedule all required ancillary training for the full time technicians and traditional guardsmen. Perform inspection, functional checks, and preventive maintenance on aircraft. Determine the serviceability of all aircraft systems and the need for repair or replacement parts. Prepare and participate in readiness evaluations. Maintain aircraft documentation and direct maintenance efforts on aircraft. Was instrumental in the development of a training course for the fundamentals of hydraulic repair and replacement of components for Rivet Work Force. Maintained the training syllabus and trained over 15 students. Worked on the Supervision Staff and was the assistant night shift Flight Chief responsible for 12 to 15 mechanics. Also was utilized as the expeditor and debrief troubleshooter for engine and hydraulic discrepancies. Performed maintenance checks and procedures of F-16C aircraft. Held a 7-skill level, remained engine run qualified, hot-pit refuel qualified and combat turn qualified. Was Red X-IPI qualified on all Crew Chief, Engine and Hydraulic tasks. Utilized engine test sets to include ESS tester, SCS tester, and RCVV pump.
