I represented my company across Europe, USA, Canada, Hong Kong, China and Sub-Saharan Africa. Under the terms of a joint venture, I acted as an external tax & trust consultant on cross border trade to a big four firm in 8 African countries. General experience in audit, financial statement production, creditor and voluntary liquidations, management accounting, personal and business taxation, corporate taxation, trusts & trustees, estates and IHT, CGT, tax investigations. I have consulted as an industry reprentative on the drafting and implementation of several pieces of primary legislation including anti-money laundering and Trustee legislation. Having an exposure to financial services, I seek to ensure that customer relationships and good communication are at the top of the agenda for my staff and I in our dealing with our clients. Formerly a member of the North East & former member (completed terms in 2015) of the England & Wales Committees, the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners. In 2014 & 2015, invited by the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners to act on the Panel of Experts on the STEP Private Client Awards Philanthropy Panel. I sit on the complaints, disciplinary and ethics Committees of the Association of International Accountants.
