Working with retailers across the globe (US, EU and EMEA) to understand their Price and Promotions capability. Leveraging decades of Price & Promotions experience gained from dh’s vast retailer portfolio. Key capability areas are highlighted so retailer know where they sit along the capability curve. Pricing health checks are executed within retailers and recommendations decks are presented back to the respective boards. Key decisions and next steps are agreed to drive change to enable improved capability, facilitated in collaboration with dunnhumby’s Centre of Excellence team. Additional projects such as ‘Balance Budgets’ allow retailers to proactively manage pricing investment by applying science and a customer focused strategy. Dh COE are currently working with Coop Norge (Norway), Shoprite (South Africa), PAM (Italy), Sonae (Portugal), Metro (Germany) and Tesco (EU)…..to mention just a few!

Allowing commercial teams to optimise their prices’ by factoring in a multitude of variables incl; price elasticity, seasonality, cross elasticity, competitor pricing, sales history, rules based pricing etc. With the ultimate goal of optimising profit, margin %, sales, units and/or other commercial objectives.
