Was named People Ambassador on five separate occasions for the purpose of representing the USA internationally in driver education and special education. I am the only driver educator in Connecticut's history to have ever received a proclamation in honor of dedication to Driver and Highway Safety through Driver Education with appreciation for providing services for special needs and fighting the perils of drunk and drugged driving from the Connecticut General Assembly and another from the Town of Trumbull, CT. In addition, the Gary Knepler Driving School conducts and participates in highway safety studies.
