Delivering reliability engineering projects for the SABIC Petrochemicals UK business, first on an ethylene liquefaction unit then supporting a new low-density polyethylene manufacturing plant.Key responsibilities and achievements:• Ran three successful TPM projects• Implemented a failure reporting and corrective action system structure, integrating into normal site operating practice• Conducted RCA’s on numerous complicated technical failures on a problematic polyethylene plant, with around £10M in total losses mitigated• Completed four RCM studies, mitigating over £8M in business risk• Conducted Weibull studies, MTBF/MTTR analysis and basic Monte Carlo simulations to support project decision making process• Contributed to 2014 major turnaround as mechanical technical authority and engineering modification controller

Mechanical engineer supporting all aspects of a logistics operation within the SABIC Petrochemicals UK site. Technical support covering a wide array of static and rotating equipment, and all reliability and integrity activities.Key responsibilities and achievements:• Mechanical authority for the overhaul of five large floating roof storage tanks with a spend of over £1M each, with RGP improvements identified and specified• Mechanical authority for pipework remediation program, with over five kilometers of pipework attended• Introduced reliability engagement sessions with operating teams, utilizing RCA to deliver “bottom-up” improvements• Carried out an RCM study on one of the liquefaction plants

Provide day-to-day management and technical leadership to a team of mechanical craftsmen, executing maintenance on the gas scrubbing section of the coke making plant and materials handling section.
