I'm a retired 27 year veteran of the Orange County Sheriff's Department. I retired at the rank of Captain. In my last assignment I led the North Operations Division as the Patrol Bureau Commander & Chief of Police Services for the contract city of Villa Park. Prior to my assignment to the North Operations Division I served in the Department Commander role at the Sheriff’s Departments Emergency Communication Bureau. In the first half of 2019 I was assigned to the Custody Operations Division where I served as a Watch Commander at one of our five jail facilities. Prior to being promoted to Lieutenant I supervised the Canine Services Section. The Canine Services Section has ten dual purpose K9 teams (Patrol & Narcotics) and provides canine services to patrol operations, the special investigations bureau, and SWAT among others.
