My name is Gary Langat, born Sarawakian, my age is 29 years old. I graduated from Politeknik Kuching in Diploma of Civil Engineering in 2014, during my study, I have done my internship with Homelite Development Sdn Bhd at Miri, Sarawak for 6 month where my job scope is focusing on site supervision and construction quality assurance checking. 3rd quarter of 2014 after graduate in the same year, I land a job as Project Engineer for WSL Xiang Xiang and work for them 1 year 2 months . My job scope with the company is mostly doing supervision work, liaising with company client and authority, planning with contractors and progress monitoring. My daily working routine mostly lead and monitoring the sub-contractors rectification work for the company projects and make sure they deliver in manner of the work quality.On the 3rd quarter of 2015, I pursue my Bachelor Degree at University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia and graduate on 2019. During my study at the university, I gain another working experience when I'm doing my internship with peninsular Malaysia company, known as Maya Masrili Sdn Bhd. I work there for a period of 3 month and was assigned as Site Engineer for their Rancangan Tebatan Banjir project at Tangkak, Johor under the Department of Irrigation Malaysia. My job scope at the company is mostly involved in coordinating, reporting and supervision of the work quality and progress for that 3 month period of my internship.After graduating, starting from August 2019 until December 2021, I work with Sinohydro Corporation Sdn Bhd as Site Engineer. My main responsibility during this time is in charge of pipeline construction for the Miri Water Supply Phase 2 project. Most of my job scope is related to the project progress monitoring and quality preparation and implementation on site for the jointing of 7km 1.6m dia. MSPUL (Mild Steel Pipe with Polyurethane Lining) pipeline work and 7.2km service road construction.During my service with Sinohydro Corporation Sdn Bhd, I lead, coordinate and verify the quality checking and assurance testing such as Pile Driving Analysis ,Maintain Load Test, Pile Integrity Test, Field Density Test for most civil and structure work.Currently (2022), I am the Project Engineer for Proposed Upgrading of Balingian Stadium Lot 3, Balingian Land District, Mukah.
