Career to date, very versatile. I have progressed from a welder/ Maintenance fitter to re-educating myself at my own personal expense to be efficient across a spectrum of design packages. After 2 years at art college and 3 at The National Center for Computer Animation, I started my journey at Rare a computer games company best known for Donkey Kong. After a period there I moved to Silicon Dreams working on football games and Lego games. In this time I became fluent with Photoshop, using 3D studio Max and Maya to create 3D models for use in game. I was made redundant after 7 years and had to by circumstance return to Welding at a Industrial catering manufacturer. A year passed and a position of Fitter/ 3D designer became available at the DHB Group. For the past 16 years I have worked here using, 3d Studio max initially and then Solid works to create Models, visuals and graphics for artists to use. I still use Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D studio max, Rhino and Sketchup. I have designed logos, for companies and visuals for magazines. Some of my animation was used by the BBC, I created an Electro Swing setup and for this I taught myself some basic HTML which was most enjoyable. I am not afraid of public speaking, as I once performed in front of an audience of 900 on Britain's Got Talent. I am a keen problem solver and like a challenge, I am very loyal and fastidious about work. I would be an asset to any company and have a lot to offer.
