Interim Controller hired via Robert Half Management Resources.One direct report was a Senior Accountant. Position included 2.5 day monthly close followed by extensive analysis, reporting and narrative. Also included monthly rolling 12 month forecast and annual plan. Heavy emphasis on cost. Most accounitng services were centralized. Eventually all accounitng work was centralized.Facility located in Brimfield, MA was one of 15 US facilities with annual local sales of approx. $30 million with about 60% of sales from one customer (Johnson & Johnson).

Supervised group of three accounting personnel comprising Cost Accountant, General Accountant and A/P Clerk.Facility has around 50 employees many with Engineering backgrounds. Annual sales of approx. $20 million per year from Spare Parts, Custtom machine rebuilds and service.Position reported locally to VP Finance & Ops as well as dotted line to U.S. Accounting Manager and to German Divisional Controller.
