We are building tools to help cardiologists improve the speed and accuracy of reading echocardiogram images. Using deep learning, our cloud based SaaS pipeline automatically interprets echo images from any vendor. For our first product, we have assembled the largest labeled data cohort for valve disease to train an AI pipeline called CUPID. CUPID places patients into risk categories for deadly and easily misdiagnosed valve diseases by generating clinically explainable and actionable reports that integrate with the existing cardiology workflow.

I developed algorithms and software for video surveillance applications, specifically image registration, event and behavior detection, and vehicle tracking from airborne video platforms. I was the lead software and algorithm developer for the Army's Constant Hawk program. I programmed neural networks on embedded hardware for real time object detection and classification tasks for UAV navigation, IRST false alarm mitigation, and ISR programs. I worked both independently and as a team leader balancing several projects at the same time. The passion and knowledge that I gained from working alongside industry experts for so many years has been the most rewarding experience of my life.

Developed a novel focus fusion algorithm for medical microscopy using wavelets.

Worked in the Kinematics Lab to process pre and post op kinematics for a cadaver leg imaged using a motion capture system.I developed an automatic algorithm to compute contact points, detect liftoff and the motion path during Flexion-Extension movements. A CT model of the tibia and femur were loaded and registered to fiducials and animated. The system was used to evaluate the effectiveness of implants in restoring normal leg function following total knee arthroplasty.
