Managing the print department at Benson Groups Newburn site which consists of 3 B1 Komori presses.

Screen, Litho and Digital printing facilities ran a production site with around 80 staff. Holding daily briefings with department and account managers to ensure full and on-time completion of customer orders. Liasing with planning to ensure capacities were met and monitoring KPI's to ensure each department Studio, Prepress, Print, Finishing and Packing targets were met.

I managed the finishing department with 2 hand fed platens, 1 semi automatic platen, 3 guillotines, a large format (1510mm x 2050mm) laminator and lamina gluer. Alongside also managing the packing department with over 45 staff running store specific collations and various hand finishing tasks.

Produced POS print quotations including finishing and packing elements for 1 off customers and tendors including Morrison's, WH Smith and Matalan. Dealing with the initial contact of customers and gaining first orders.

Running a shift of around 20 staff achieving customer despatches on time and in full, whilst ensuring quality checks were maintained.
