  Specialist in analytical, numerical, and experimental fluid/thermo dynamics focused in applications for conventional and controllable solid rocket motors (SRMs). 30+ years in modeling complex transient phenomena critical for the successful operation of controllable solid propulsion devices: ignition transient predictions, propellant extinguishment characterization, multistage rocket staging dynamics and gas dynamics, full mission energy management prediction (gas dynamics, heat transfer with in-depth heat conduction, ballistics with moving boundaries, multi-thruster systems with automated control algorithms). Involved in all aspects of product development: system and component sizing, preliminary and detailed analysis of entire system and individual components, defining tests configurations and matrix of tests, reducing and interpreting test results, supporting system qualification and flight testing, and serving as a critical member of anomaly investigation teams. Extensive experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD): application of commercial codes and developer of specialized CFD codes tailored to the uniqueness of conventional and controllable SRMs.
