Working on a solution to provision a new environment for a new customer in under a day. The solution will involve AWS functionality, shell scripts to automate the environment preparation (environment variables, directories, permissions, etc) and scripts to create the database and build the schema.5. Developed a solution to automatically refresh Test environments from Production every 4 weeks.6. Worked with Amazon to advise on and resolve a recurrent data block corruption issue7. Have implemented other performance tuning initiatives, utilizing Fast-Refreshable Materialized Views and improving selectivity of queries and SQL Plan Baselines.

Helped to reduce size of the main Production Database from 8.3TB to 7TB through a strategy of partitioning and archiving of large tables. 8. Proposed and implemented successfully a solution to a database purging problem. This database was a key part of a Managed Testing Service. The clients wished for all records that were over 18 months old to be deleted from the database. The initiative ran into several problems due to lack of space on disk.
