A major part of my role through data analysis is to identify high shrink stores and within these stores identify high loss product groups. Investigate root cause and implement a rolling action plan with documented actions and next steps. Lead all investigations where store colleagues have been identified as being dishonest. Build a solid working relationship with external law enforcement agencies Coach and lead all training in Loss Prevention to area managers and all grades of the store management team.

I am responsible for the shrink and security for a store which has a turnover of 48 million pa. A customer count of over 30,000 and a staff count of 300 full and part time. I have a full time equivalent of 2 Tesco staff and 3 agency staff. I carry out daily product protection audits which I feedback to the department managers in a daily meeting.I carry out quarterly stock, loss and cash audits which I feedback my findings directly to the store manager. I am responsible for all staff investigations when dishonesty has been identified. All outcomes are resolved at store level or escalated to the relevant local authorities.
