I have been very blessed to work at Soffe for so many years. In my time here, I have been very privileged to work with many talented people, and great friends. During this… Show more I have been very blessed to work at Soffe for so many years. In my time here, I have been very privileged to work with many talented people, and great friends. I have had many different jobs and responsibilities in the Art department over the years that I have been here.For most of my time at Soffe, my primary job has been Designing and Color Separating T-shirt graphics for all branches of the Military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines), and also the College Bookstore market. During this time, I was also responsible for designing and creating the Sales Publications for each branch 2 times a year...(Total of roughly 8 separate books for the Military, and 2 separate seasons for the College market each year). I use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop OS6, and familiar with Adobe Indesign. I worked closely with our Sales Reps and Customers to create designs and art that reflect the look and feel that is desired for specific seasons and functions. I was the Associate Art Director and managed the creative art workflow and would oversee the art quality from concept to completion.A responsibility that I took on myself was Quality Control with the sample printing. I have spent many hours troubleshooting problems and sharing my experience with printing with the printers. That was a job that I really loved...seeing something you create printed on a shirt is a great feeling.With changes in the company, I have become the Lead Separator for all High End Prints. My main job now is to Color Separate for the Salt Life, and Realtree brands. I am skilled in Simulated Process Color, Halftone, and Vector Art separations. I am currently skilled in the use of ICISS Separation Software. I am also familiar with T-Seps Software.I train artists on new Software, new Equipment, and new Techniques. I would also prepare instructional documentation. I was trained to understand, troubleshoot, adjust, and the upkeep of the Wasatch Direct to Screen imaging system....and LOTS other jobs! Show less

At JEB Designs I did many different jobs. I was hired as an artist. I produced T-shirt / Cap art for the surrounding businesses and High Schools. South View kept me very busy! I had a lot of fun creating their designs. My jobs included creating art, separating the art for screen print, burning and washing out screens. I was also responsible for building frames from lumber, stretching mesh, coating screens, touching up screens, reclaiming screens, catching at the oven, and cataloging art.
