Presently responsible for 2 buildings making up a little over 1 million square feet of warehouse space consisting of 100 teammates in a 3 shift operation working 24 x 5.5.. Manages all aspects of the day to day operation of the warehouse.. Administer corrective actions as necessary.. Determine tools and equipment required and provides the same.. Oversees training for all warehouse positions.. Ensure that all departmental records are maintained in compliance to company policy.. Manage and direct aspects of carrier loading and unloading services.. Ensures contractors coming into the building are certified.. Supply daily workload capacity information to transportation.. Explains and enforces company and departmental rules and regulations.. Plans and conducts counting aspect of the annual finished goods inventory.. Manage the maintenance of power lift equipment.. Ensure that all teammates comply with all safety, quality and company policies.. Supports all aspects of the inventory control team and its efforts. Including the cycle count schedule, product freeze notifications, and recalls.

I was responsible for all aspects of a multi million dollar tobacco inventory operating in a 6 day environment covering 2 shifts. Multiple accounts in 1 secured area with differing requirements for each account serviced. Worked hand in hand with the customer service representative for each account to insure timely receipt and proper warehousing of materials along with meeting all customer shipping and inventory requirements. We fostered a trusting relationship with each customer group and maintained exceptional service levels for each. Inventory accuracy and integrity was near 100% daily. Any discrepancy in inventory was researched immediately to determine cause and reported to the customer for immediate disposition.
