• Arranging and coordinating valuable and appropriate work experience opportunities for students and trainees.

• Responsibility for improving teaching and learning through CPD.• Operational and development responsibility of teaching and learning observations and the observation team.• Implementation of a range of strategies to improve teaching and learning, including the use of Quality Improvement Plans. • Line manage the Learning Resource Centre, Reprographics and Teaching and Learning Coaches.• Point of contact and manage complaints made to the college, sometimes involving investigation depending upon the subject matter of the complaint.• Leadership of and teaching on teacher training courses.• Quality Nominee for all Awarding Bodies and responsibility for quality assurance issues in the college.• Carry out quality audits with providers and have quality responsibility for work based learning.

• Co-ordinated and taught on all law courses and the Level 5 teaching qualification.• Co-ordinated Teaching and Learning Coaches at the college in my role as the Advanced Learning Coach.• Played a key role in the successful HER and Ofsted inspections of teacher training (Grade 2), being the main contact with inspectors.• Responsibility for all internal verification on legal courses and teacher training with key relationships with awarding bodies and other organisations such as universities and professional bodies as well as being chief examiner for civil litigation.• Member of the Higher Education Committee for the whole of the college.• Actively involved in arranging CPD at the college.
