I am an avid motorsport fan and enjoy spectating and officiating on motorsport events both nationally and internationally. Whatever little spare time I have left I enjoy (trying!) to play golf and watching Everton and weekends away in my motorhome.

Responsible for Technical Sales and new business development in UK and EuropeAppointed Northern Technical Sales Manager for Precision Micro Limited in Birmingham based from my home office on the Wirral.Responsible for Technical Sales and new business development for the North of England1986 – 1987, On completion of apprenticeship in August 1986 employed by the Metallic Valve Company on a permanent working contract.1987 - 1990, Worked as a setter and operator on a CNC Laser Profile Cutting Machine for Micro Metallic Ltd at their Birkenhead Works. Some of my other duties included maintenance of machinery and general machining such as turning, grinding, drilling and fitting.July 1990,Promoted to Shop Floor Chargehand and took on additional responsibilities for staff organisation and production planning.June 1993, Promoted to position of Maintenance Manager. Responsible for all machine and plant maintenance, whether it be in-house or the arrangement of external contractors.May 1996, Appointed Works Manager. Responsible for day to day running of all aspects of shop floor including new equipment and machinery procurement, production planning, sub contractor approval, quality levels, Health & Safety etc.Jan 1998to 2005, Promoted to Technical Sales Manager. Developed new role for company aimed atbetter servicing its customer base. Solely responsible for Sales, Marketing and Advertisement in UK and Europe to generate new revenue. Also responsible for managing accounts of existing customers.2005-2006, Appointed Project Manager for a local Air Conditioning and Ventilation company. Responsible for project managing contracts for national retail and leisure outlets across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
