American Stores was entering into the warehouse market, I was in charge of putting together their new concept from the beginning. We opened up 18 new stores (11 in Southern Ca. and 7 in Northern Ca.) all within 12 month period.Hired all supervisors and store management to run the daily operations I opened all new stores and hired all personal through regional job fairs.Negotiated all vendor contracts from produce and fresh dairy products, implemented produce field buying on farm fresh goods. Was in charge of all purchasing and quality control, pricing and writing of weekly ads.Responsible for all budgets, sales, labor, inventory control and training..Supervised and help start up a new company called Pak N Save Supermarkets. This was the first warehouse grocery store in Northern California.
