Operations Turnaround: Turned around a financially struggling multisite operation from a $4M annual shortfall to profitability in 18 months. Innovation: Co-developed daycare center as one of very few in the US to serve both typical and medically fragile children in a fully integrated multigenerational environment. Industry Leadership: Elected Chairman of the Board of two industry associations. Instrumental in bringing group purchasing self-insured workers' compensation programs to the industry. Advised state Medicaid program on the creation of the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Speaker/presenter at the American Health Care Association, LeadingAge Association, civic, and other organizations. Awards/Honors: Received the Ira O Wallace Award for meritorious service to the Long-Term Care Industry from KAHCF. Received the LeadingAge KY and National Leadership Award. Honored by the University of Kentucky College of Allied Health for eight years of service.
