I have regularly exceeded targets mentored new Advisors, acted as Workgroup Leader, worked in Schools helping pupil leavers and worked on a 1 year special contract called Stairway to Work**. Day-to-day responsibilities have included; • Building relationships from initial meetings through to in-work support• Helping to create and tailor C.V.s, letters and applications • Helping deal with housing and benefit issues and benefits• Assisting in job searching, applications and interview preparation • Keeping a well-managed log of all client events and activities• Meeting quarterly targets and maintaining contractual requirements**While seconded on the Stairway to Work contract (2003 – 2004)I was the Advisor who went round 6 facilitators who worked remotely around the East of Scotland. Key tasks and areas of responsibility included providing high levels of customer service and the daily management and training of staff. Responsible for; liaising with external contractors, opening and closing the ice rink, corresponding with customers via emails and telephone, web-maintenance and report writing. Due to the nature of the sport, health and safety training was paramount to the organisation to ensure the safety of customers and staff.

Delivering coaching sessions during school holidays and at weekends, and with youths who had been excluded from mainstream education. Working as a group to work to targets. Planning, delivering and evaluating sessions. I was also then taken on full time to go deliver sessions in schools and advertise the summer/holiday camps.

Working weekends and holidays to look after 5-14 year olds and enable them to get a healthy active break. Making sure all health and safety was looked after. Encouraging participation in activities, and coaching sporting sessions.

Duties included meeting and greeting customers, completing customer details on an in house computer system, filing, answering telephone enquiries, pre-testing patients, ordering and fixing spectacles and contact lenses. Working to sales target and exceeding them.

Main duties included serving drinks to customers, opening and closing the bar, checking the identification of customers to ensure they met age requirements for purchase of alcohol, restocking shelves and clearing tables.

Managed the day to day operations of the bar. Responsibilities included; supervising staff, profit and cost control management, conceiving and implementing promotional campaigns and overseeing private functions. Openning and closing the bar, cashing up and banking. General duties included serving customers, restocking and keeping the bar area tidy.

Based on a luxury cruise ship, the main duties of this role included hosting events, dealing games and advising customers on the rules. Other responsibilities included resolving customer complaints, staff management, rotas, organising berthing, safety walks, composing welcoming packs for staff and ensuring high levels of professionalism and hospitality were implemented.
