Upgraded/migrated databases from Oracle 10g/11g on AIX, HPUX, Windows to Oracle 11gR2 and 12c multi-tenant on Linux. Rolling upgrades of Oracle 11gR1 CRS/ASM to 11gR2 Grid Infrastructure without application outage. Monitoring all Oracle ASM, clusters, databases, WebLogic, IBM DB2, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server in heterogeneous environment. Created OEM Metric Extensions and Monitoring templates to provide monitoring and alerting of standardized and custom metrics for all types of targets in the database infrastructure. Implemented Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) Warehouse for long term retention and analysis of database performance statistics.Standardized our Grid Infrastructure/ASM installations and developed methodology to re-install the GI software to meet standards while maintaining ASM and Oracle Restart/Cluster configuration.Developed scripts to cleanly startup/shutdown all Oracle processes (ASM, cluster, database, listener, EMagent) running on Unix and Windows hosts and successfully implemented the process in AIX HACMP failover environment.Configured IBM DB2 10.1 on Linux databases for High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HADR) failover using Tivoli System Automation for Mutliplatforms (TSAMP).
