Founder and manager of an Information Technology company that sells various Information Technology products from bar code scanners, data collectors, computers, servers, laptops, PDA, parts and peripherals. The company’s focus includes sales of computer equipment, but also networking, software integration, and surplus asset recovery. Duties include market research, coordinating, contracting, sales, electronic commerce modeling, and manufacturing newly developed products in China and management information systems in this organic environment. Handle managerial and logistical aspects of corporation including vertical integration and organizational design. Identified, analyzed and negotiated several joint ventures with competitors to exploit existing synergies between companies. Gementerprises was founded with $2,000 seed money and netted over $10M Net Profits and is one of the largest Ebay sellers in New Jersey with over 100,000 successful Internet transactions. Gementerprises is currently operating out of a 19,000 square foot facility in Millville, New Jersey owned by Investment By GEM which Gary also owns and is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).

Coordinate with clients to explore opportunities within Myanmar and Thailand and later to plan and execute business development as desired. Act as a liaison to various governmental entities always seeking to explore existing synergies making it an attractive win win scenario for the client and the people of Myanmar/Thailand.

Operated a small used vehicle wholesale business with an equal partner. Duties include handling logistical matters, supervision of employees, inventory, purchasing cars, sales and general accounting duties. With a limited amount of capital, we were able to aggressively market using guerilla marketing even landing national news spots for free while also serving the community in charitable acts. In 1996 as President, I expanded company’s scope of concentration to encompass a wider trading area, and thus formed the new company Gementerprises.

Was in a special program active duty to enhance the quality of people in the US Navy. One of 43 people from the state of Pennsylvania to participate. Served on one Mediterranean cruise doing UNREP work for two aircraft carrier task forces at sea while on AFS-6 a Mars class combat store ship, the USS San Diego AFS-6. Was in the Med in July 3, 1988 when the USS Vincennes CG-49 shot down the airliner in the Persian Gulf and also was on my ship as it was stuck by the nuclear submarine the USS Norfolk SSN-714 off the coast of Norfolk. Finished my tour at Headquarters Naval Station Philadelphia, later to be recalled by the US Naval Reserve to go back to active duty for Desert Storm/Shield, but thankfully did not deploy there.
