I am a licensed architect specializing in residential remodels and additions. Before returning to the University of California at Berkeley to finish my bachelor's degree I worked in residential construction. This practical experience continues to ground me in the application of principles of design, the understanding of the historical context of architectural styles, and the practical necessity of design within a budget.There is nothing that makes me happier than helping home owners realize their dreams in the process of alteration and addition to their homes. My designs focus on efficient use of space, natural light and ventilation, and the use of sustainable materials.
